Launch the media gallery 1 player - media #1Congratulations to Sandy Creek art student Svea Haars for being nominated for Artsonia's Artist of the Week. Artsonia is a kids art museum where young artists and students display their art for other kids and the general public worldwide to view. This gallery displays schools (K-12) and student artworks. Each week Artsonia selects twelve random art submissions in each of four different age groups (grades PreK-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12) from artwork submitted the previous week. Voting is open to the general public every Wednesday-Saturday, with the winners from each age group being awarded on Sunday. Artsonia donates a $100 gift card to Blick Art Materials to the winning school and a $50 gift card to the winning artist. The artwork that receives the most online votes becomes the National Artist of the Week.
