Sandy Creek Striv
Launch the media gallery 1 playerSandy Creek is now a Striv school. What does this mean? It means that we are partnering with Striv (a technology company in Henderson, NE) to livestream all home events (sports, music concerts, graduation, etc.) at Sandy Creek. We have a Digital Media class of 30 students dedicated to creating content for our video board as well as livestreaming events via Striv. Mr. Gorsuch, Mrs. Hassenstab and Mr. Borer are leading this group, and assisting the students in providing these services not only to our district patrons, but to Sandy Creek Cougars all over the world.
Striv is an amazing company. Not only do we use their services for livestreaming, but their CEO, Henderson-native Taylor Siebert has become a business partner to our graphic arts students in our Nebraska CAPS career pathway program. He is also mentoring 2 high school seniors that are interested in graphic arts. We are lucky to have this partnership with Taylor and all the people at Striv.
Using Sandy Creek's Striv channel is pretty easy. You can go to our Striv Channel website (http://striv.tv/channel/sandy-creek/) and view upcoming events, on demand (past) events or watch live to see what is going on with the Cougars. You can access our Striv channel on any device and they are currently working on a smart phone app that will alert you when we start a live stream.
