Nebraska CAPS students get real world experiences

Nebraska CAPS graphic arts and publishing pathway students had the opportunity to work hands on with our business partner Hastings Tribune. Katrina Anderson, Brianna Sorgen, and Kaytlynn Tockey were able to work with the Hastings Tribune on Friday, March 31 and cover the ESU 9 Chess Tournament. Together they put together a story and photography that was published in the Hastings Tribune the following day. A big thank you goes to the Hastings Tribune for being a great business partner for Nebraska CAPS and giving our students many real world work experiences throughout the year. Check out the article and photography by the three students here - http://www.hastingstribune.com/news/students-try-to-make-all-the-right-moves-at-chess/article_a6012eb8-1686-11e7-9cd8-ab326057ea47.html
The article was published on the front page of the Hastings Tribune on April 1st, 2017.
