SC Elem - Summer Reading Adventure
All students Kindergarten - 5th Grade are encouraged to join the Summer Reading Adventure. All students that complete the Summer Reading Adventure by receiving 5 Passport Stamps will be eligible to participate in the End of Summer POOL Party!

- iPhone or Android phone - Push Notifications: Open your web browser and to to: rmd.at/ka9dh Follow the instructions to sign up for Remind. You'll be prompted to download the mobile app.

There are several ways to enjoy the adventrure: Book Club, Bug Challenge, Book Quest or Blogging.
- BOOKMOBILE: Stop by your local library or check-in with the Bookmobile in Edgar on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:00pm at the Pool Park or in Glenvil on Thursdays from 4:30-5:00pm in the Fire Hall. Read the books you want to read while you complete the Book Quest. Prove your knowledge by completing a hands-on activity. Pick from numerous activities...the choice is yours.
- BOOK CLUB: Book Club will be set up in Fairfield Library on Mondays from 4:30-5:00 or at the Clay Center Library on Wednesdays from 4:30-5:00. The Book Club is available at Edgar and Glenvil when the Book Mobile is there. Times might change according to students' need and interest.
- BUG CHALLENGE: Don't forget what Terry DeVries taught you about how to collect a bug. Papers will be coming home on how to collect your bug either in the traditional or digital way. You will need to complete Non-Fiction Research to complete the Bug Challenge.
- BOOK QUEST: Stop by your local libraries, read the books you want to read while you complete the Book Quest. Prove your knowledge by completing a hands-on activity. Pick from numerous activities...the choice is yours.
- BOOK BLOG: Read with your Blogging Mentor and complete Blogging assignments. You will be encouraged to LET YOUR VOICE be HEARD as you discuss your book, the characters, make predictions and more.

- #1 June 1st at Fairfield Library starting at 4:30pm. This week only...Book Club/Bookmobile will be in Glenvil on FRIDAY, June 2nd from 9:00-10:00 am and Book Club/Check-In will be in Fairfield on Thursday, June 1st starting at 4:30pm.
- #2 June 20th at Edgar Pool Park starting at 4:30pm
- #3 July 6th at Glenvil Fire Hall starting at 4:30pm
- #4 July 19th at Clay Center Library at 4:30pm
