Beef in the Schools
Saturday, October 28th
On Saturday, October 28th, get your best chili made and be prepared to go head-to-head against the Lawrence/Nelson FFA students in a Chili Cook-Off to help promote our Beef in the Schools program at Lawrence/Nelson Middle and High School. While you are there, plan on watching the Huskers play (kick off at 11 AM), hayrack rides, a pumpkin decorating contest (bring yours decorated/painted, please no carved pumpkins!) and prepare for games, prizes, and more!
This is all being brought to you by the Lawrence/Nelson FFA Alumni. If you would like to donate either money or beef to this program, please contact Teri Pond-Svoboda at the number listed on the poster. Help us bring our students REAL, homegrown beef, into our school system - we are starting small with the middle/high school before expanding our program. We are hoping to bring this to ALL of our students very soon!
