Reminders for November and December
NO SCHOOL DATES: Nov. 1st, 3rd, 7th, 22nd - 24th; Dec. 21st - 31st
This is a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL AT LAWRENCE/NELSON on Tuesday, November 7th, 2017. Thanksgiving Break is Wednesday, November 22nd, through Friday, November 24th. And then school dismisses for the semester on Wednesday, December 20th. There is no preschool on Thursday, November 9th (but there is K-12 classes being held!).
Pathway Information:
- Tiny House project is now accepting SILENT BIDS through November 30th, and will be out for display on Friday, November 10th, starting at 5 PM, prior to the Pheasants Forever Banquet. The commercial for this project was made by Mr. Borer and the digital media class, and will be aired on the 6 PM and 10 PM news on Channel 10/11 during this week. - Pathway presentations for all Lawrence/Nelson juniors and seniors will be on Wednesday, December 13th.
Update on State Football Playoffs:
The Raiders defeated Crawford in the first round of the playoffs, Garden County in the second round, and are now set to take on the #1 seeded Mullen Broncos AT MULLEN on Tuesday, November 7th, at 3 PM. There will be a send off for the team at 7:30 AM on Tuesday, and the public is encouraged to line the streets of Nelson to send them off.
Changes/Updates to the Schedule:
Basketball practice will start on Wed., Nov. 8th, for the high school girls' basketball team.
The Veterans Day Program will be held on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 9th, at 9 AM at the middle/high school and at 2:45 PM at the elementary...instead of on Tuesday, November 7th, as originally scheduled.
Christmas Concerts:
- Elementary: Monday, December 4th, at 7 PM
- Middle/High School: Tuesday, December 5th, at 7 PM
