Junior High Volleyball

Junior High Volleyball is "a great opportunity to improve before high school" as one of the players, Brynn Claycamp, describes it. Junior High Athletics gives players opportunities to bond with teammates and become more disciplined. Volleyball helps not just with skills on the court, but also off the court. An example is communication, which is a good asset in life, not just volleyball.

Players have improved drastically from the beginning of the season to end. "Volleyball this year has improved from last year by doing different drills and practicing more skills," Kirstyn Sherbeck quotes. The volleyball girls practiced more game like situations that may happen while playing, such as what to do when the ball flies into the net.

This years junior high volleyball season brought new coaches Kalee Lipovsky and Deb Schmoldt. "This year's seventh and eighth graders worked so hard," Coach Lipovsky says. "They all improved their fundamentals and gained an understanding of the sport of volleyball!" Players were able to ask coached for help. All the girls loved working with someone new who could give them new advice.
