For the National Conference (held June 27th - 30th), students are invited to take an Arrow Charter bus that will be traveling from Nebraska to Dallas.  The bus will depart Lincoln or York at approximately 8 am on Tuesday June 26th and leave Dallas for home at about 8 am on Sunday July 1.  One bus can transport 54 people.  The cost will be divided among riders (about $150/person).  The buses will be filled on a first to reserve basis and will only travel if there are at least 45 riders on each bus.  We recommend all schools traveling on the charter bus request hotels together on April 11th.

Nebraska Med Scholarships:  Nebraska Medicine is offering $30,000 in scholarships to students pursuing careers in health science.  Please share this application with all of your students and encourage them to apply before the May 4th deadline.  This is the first year for this program and Nebraska Medicine is hoping for a large number of HOSA applicants and recipients. http://nebraskahosa.org/scholarships.html

A huge congratulations to Bailey, daughter of Terry and Melissa Cox of Lawrence; Emily, daughter of Kurt and Marcia Himmelberg of Lawrence; and Megan Wheeland, daughter of Kevin and the late Renae Wheeland of Nelson.  We are so proud of you!

A huge shout out once again to Colby Fox and Doug Wehrman of Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior, as well as school nurse Kristi Wehrman, who worked with these students to prepare them for the contest.  We definitely appreciate your support of our healthcare pathway students!
