Sandy Creek Launches an eSports Team
Launch the media gallery 1 playerToday was the first meeting of the Sandy Creek eSports team. 25 students showed up and are excited to begin competing in Overwatch, League of Legends, NBA 2K18, Super Smash Bros and Rocket League. eSports is new at the high school level in the state of Nebraska. Taylor Siebert of Striv is currently working to organize an eSports league for high schoolers in Nebraska. Sandy Creek has jumped on board with this idea. eSports will create more opportunities for our students, such as college scholarships, team building activities and having fun while competing at games they love to play.
