Red Raider Cross Country Team Starts Year with 20 Runners
Eleven from LN and Nine from SC

The Red Raiders will be sporting new uniforms and several new runners. Coach Randi Fox noted that she has high expectations for the boys' team especially, as five of the six varsity runners return this year. The roster from both schools include:
- Seniors: KaLee Fanning, Jayden Jorgensen, and Rose Kathman from LN; Chase DeVries, Luke Searle, and Bailey Switzer from SC.
- Juniors: Kacie Herbek and Joanie Schultz from LN; Josh Voorhees from SC.
- Sophomores: Jessica Himmelberg, Alex Miller, and Cole Troudt from LN; Brayton Jarosik from SC.
- Freshmen: Theo Kathman, Logan Menke, and Jacob Swift from LN; Parker Shuck, Hayden Shuck, Jacob Hagemeier, and Zach Brennfoerder from SC.

The team has added a meet in Kearney this year, but otherwise the schedule remains close to the same, with the cross country team (along with the volleyball and football teams!) beginning their season on Thursday, August 30th, at the Superior Country Club at 4:30 PM. If you can't catch that meet, try for one of the following:
- 8/30/18 @ 4:30 PM @ Superior
- 9/6/18 @ 4 PM @ Fairbury
- 9/11/18 @ 4 PM @ Adams Central
- 9/13/18 @ 4:30 PM @ Fillmore Central
- 9/20/18 @ 4:30 PM @ Thayer Central
- 9/27/18: TVC Meet @ Red Cloud (change from being held at the Lawrence Country Club)
- 10/4/18 @ 5 PM @ Milford for the SNC Meet
