Things are going to look a little different for Homecoming 2018 for the Lawrence/Nelson Raiders:

1. The game is on a SATURDAY this year:  Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 at 2 PM.
2. The parade will be held in LAWRENCE on this Saturday at 10 AM - sponsored by the Lawrence Community Club.
3. The pep rally will be held in LAWRENCE following the parade -- right on Main Street, so come join in the fun!  Also, this is sponsored by the Lawrence Community Club.
4. Each of the individual elementary classes will not have a float but will instead be brought to the parade by their parents (or guardians) and will be picked back up by parents after the parade, so that they are with their parents/guardians for the pep rally.  Please meet at the ball field by 9:30 AM.
5. The hallways/doors that are decorated at the MS/HS have changed.  A letter was sent home with middle/high school students explaining what their class is responsible for, and is linked below.  Please bring all decorating supplies with you on decorating day, as no supplies will be furnished (it is a struggle to get them back into our classrooms!).

All other parts of Homecoming should look the same:

• Decorating of hallways will still take place the Sunday before Homecoming week on Sept. 16th from 12 PM to 5 PM.  The public is invited to judge the hallways at 5:30 PM.
• Parade at 10 AM, followed by pep rally (on main street).
• Pep Rally followed by Flag Team Meal Deal at the Lawrence Legion, starting at 11 AM and going through kick off, when it will then be taken to the football field.  
• Coronation to follow the football game on the field.
• Dance to follow the coronation at the elementary school (STUDENTS:  Please make sure that your out-of-town dates are signed up by FRIDAY, AUGUST 21ST AT 8 AM with Mrs. Ham).

• Megan Wheeland and Boone Svoboda

The public is invited (AND HIGHLY ENCOURAGED) to take part in this year's pep rally.  Please contact Lisa Peterson of the Lawrence Community Club to enter your float in the parade.  Prizes will be given for first, second and third places.

• Preschool and Elementary Students
• 2nd Letter sent home to Preschool & Elementary Students on 9/12/18
• Middle and High School Students (including one just for 6th grade students & parents)
