TVC Post-Season Volleyball Honors
2018-2019
Congratulations to juniors Karigan Drudik, Hallie Epley, and Taylor Harrington for their TVC All-Conference honors. TVC volleyball coaches met last week to vote on these honors. Coaches can not vote on their own players, but instead, all other coaches in the conference determine the players receiving honors for your school by casting votes. There is no all-conference for football, but future recognition will be posted when received for the Lincoln Journal Star, Omaha World Herald, All Tribland, etc.
Also, congratulations to conference rival Blue Hill, who won Class C2 in volleyball. It should be noted that several teams that LN came up against this season (and often took sets from!) were not only competing, but placing/winning their class at the State Volleyball Tournament...which shows you just how tough the LN schedule is for volleyball!
Blue Hill won C2, Superior won 4th place in C2, BDS won D2, and Archbishop Bergan (the team that defeated LN in Sub-State) won Class D1. St. Cecilia, Freeman, and Thayer Central also qualified for state.
A huge thank you to seniors Samantha Janda, Kaylee Kathman, RaeLeigh Menke, and Megan Wheeland for their senior leadership and coaches Jamie Lay and Michelle Harrington.
The basketball season will start on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 27TH AT HEARTLAND LUTHERAN (this game was moved from Tues., Nov. 20th to Mon., Nov. 26th and now to Tues., Nov. 27th). Girls will play at 6 PM and boys at 7:30 PM.
