Middle School Students to Celebrate Reaching their AR Goal for First Semester

The following middle school students all met or exceeded their Accelerated Reader (AR) goal for the first semester, and will be going to the new movie The Grinch on Thursday, December 20th, with the Sandy Creek Middle School students who met their goal as well.  The movie will be showing at the theater in Hebron. They will receive both a popcorn and pop from the school district, as well as admission to the show.

We had several students who not only met their goal, but went far, far above and beyond, and they need to be recognized.  Eighth grader Sadie Rempel had over 300 points for the first semester alone, and exceeded her goal by more than 1000%! This is a first for any student in the district in one semester, so a huge congratulations to her!

Others deserving a huge pat on the back for reaching 600%, 400%, 300% and 200% of their goals are as follows:

200% of their goal:

  • 7th graders Claire Himmelberg, A.J. Koehler, Rocky Miller

  • 8th graders Alex Haba, Devyn Zikmund

300% of their goal:

  • 6th graders Cody Brockman, Emily Jacobitz, Addi McCloskey, Carson Vaughn

700% of their goal:

  • 6th grader Onja Myers

1000% of their goal:
