Current School-Parent Compact

Updates to the most recent School-Parent Compact is linked HERE. (Reviewed annually; page 100 of 2020-2021 Student Handbook)

Updates to the most recent Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policy 5615.00 (reviewed annually) is included in the Student Handbook (page 98 of 2020-2021 Student Handbook).

Testing Transparency Notification:

At the beginning of each school year, Districts shall notify the parents of each student attending any school receiving Title I funds that the parents may request (and in a timely manner), information regarding any State or District policy regarding student participation in any assessments. §1112(e)(2)(A)

 

Notification of Teacher Qualifications:

The Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 gives parents/guardians the right to request information about the professional qualifications of their child's classroom teachers. Upon request (and in a timely manner), the agency will give parents/guardians the following information about their child's teacher:

  • Whether the teacher has met state qualifications and licensing criteria for the grade levels and subject areas in which the teacher provides instruction

  • Whether the teacher is teaching under an emergency or provisional teaching certificate

  • Is teaching in the field of discipline of the certification of the teacher

  • Whether the child is provided services by paraprofessionals and, if so, their qualifications
