Welcome, Alex Kucera!
Launch the media gallery 1 playerHelp me welcome Mrs. Alex Kucera to the new administrative assistant position at Lawrence/Nelson for our preschool and elementary students! Kucera is a graduate of Sandy Creek High School in 2012 and Central Community College in 2014, graduating with a degree in Graphic Arts and a certificate in Photography. Alex grew up most of her life in Edgar, where her mom, dad and sister still live. Her parents are Julie and Dennis Bruning, and her sister, Erin, is a senior at Sandy Creek. Her brother, Dallas, graduated high school in 2016, before graduating from Northeast Community College and is now working at Klute in York.
In her spare time, Mrs. Kucera enjoys spending time with friends and family, and taking Weston to new places to see how excited he gets about it! She also enjoys crafting and making new things with her Cricut, with her favorites being t-shirts and wall art. Mrs. Kucera is thankful for her husband's support in going into education. Mrs. Kucera is married to Nick, who is a graduate of Lawrence/Nelson.
Alex states that she is "looking forward to working at Lawrence/Nelson, because it is in the community in which she lives, and is the school that our son will go to in a few years!" Alex stated that she is also looking forward to returning to the district that she graduated from, and "becoming a member of a great school system."
