JANUARY 15, 2019 Chadron State College Chadron State College offers a variety of scholarships for all students, including freshman, continuing and transfer students. These scholarships are awarded based on academic ability and extracurricular activities. Scholarship information and applications are available at www.csc.edu/scholarships . Scholarships may also be awarded through various departments at Chadron State College and may require  separate applications.  Application deadline is January 15 for freshman students. The application can be found by logging into MyCSC To-Do List for the scholarship link.

January 15, 2019- Nebraska Lumber Dealers Association Scholarship- scholarship available to high school seniors pursuing a construction related degree in college. The application can be found at:  https://www.nlassn.org/page/Scholarships

January 15, 2019 Due to Mrs. Porter-(Due date is January 25)-Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association Scholarship- Students planning to become teachers or other related occupations, such as counselors or media specialists may apply for these scholarships.
Only one female and one male application per school will be accepted-see Mrs. Porter if you plan to apply for this scholarship.  The application is at http://www.nrcsa.net

January 15, 2019 Due to Mrs. Porter-(Due date is January 25) NRCSA  Gary Fisher Fine Arts Scholarship for students who excel in the fine arts and are planning to major in the fine arts in college.  Graduating seniors of NRCSA member schools are eligible to apply.

JANUARY 15, 2019 (Applications available from Mrs. Porter.  Return to Mrs. Porter by January 15th even though the application is due January 25th)-Criteria-Both of these scholarships are made available to qualifying seniors from highs schools which encompass the hometowns of the twenty-two Nebraska sailors who died at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 and remain entombed on the USS Arizona.  S2c Max Valdyne Peery, of Nelson was one of those sailors.  Therefore these Scholarships are available to Lawrence/Nelson Students.
