L-N Teacher Serves as Current President for the Association for Career and Technical Education of Nebraska
Larwence-Nelson teacher, Morgan Trausch, serves as the current President of ACTEN (Association for Career and Technical Education of Nebraska). Next year she will be the Past President. The ACTE mission statement is "To provide educational leadership in developing a competitive workforce. ACTE strives to empower educators to deliver high-quality CTE programs that ensure all students are positioned for career success". ACTE supports their members through professional development in various forms: Techniques magazine, State and National Conferences, and resources for Educators to use in their classrooms. This is a great example of the way that SCU #5 teacher leaders involve themselves at the state level.
