HOSA Returns from Nationals
HOSA is a nationally recognized student organization for those interested in healthcare. For the 2nd year in a row, South Central Unified School District #5 was proud to have four students earn a trip to Nationals. This summer, Brandi Mazour, Kaylee Kathman, Megan Wheeland, Emily Himmelberg, and Kristi Wehrman (sponsor) attended the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida from June 19th to 22nd. Some highlights from their trip included an Opening Session where nearly 12,000 HOSA students from across the world joined together for an epic night of fun and getting inspired about healthcare. Students also competed in their event, met students from all over the world, and got to enjoy some of the sights and sounds of Disney World. All the girls were very reluctant to leave and are already planning a five-year reunion at the park!
