Brenda Hilton, founder of Officially Human: Beyond the Stripes, stated, “The time is now for all of us to realize that officials are human and their existence and hard work at sporting events allows all of us to enjoy the games that we love. As fans in our district, we ask for your cooperation. If you cannot be this type of fan, please remove yourself from the game. Officials are human and are going to make mistakes, we all do. Recognition and thanks are needed for these officials, not abuse.
