Several Students Qualify for National HOSA Competition
While we weren't able to attend State HOSA this year, there were some students who were able to take tests online prior to the event. We are proud of the team as they had several qualifying for nationals! The following students will have the opportunity to attend the International HOSA Conference in Houston, TX this June. Below are the results of students who placed in the top 10. They competed against students all across NE and did a wonderful job representing SCNUSD#5. Be sure to give them a shout out if you virtually see them!
Emily Himmelberg: 2nd place in Cultural Diversity & Disparities in Health Care. This is the 3rd year in a row she has qualified for Nationals!
Wyatt Mach: 5th place in Medical Terminology. He earned an alternate spot for Nationals.
Jon Mueller: 6th place in Medical Terminology
Noah Shackelford: 9th place in Medical Terminology
Ethan Sherbeck: 6th place in Medical Law & Ethics
Kennedi Tripe: 5th place in Physical Therapy
Marilyn Whitaker: 7th place in Medical Law & Ethics
