STUDENTS IN QUARANTINE/ISOLATION OR WITH SYMPTOMS

Launch the media gallery 1 playerStudents who are being asked to quarantine/isolate by the health department or who have COVID-19 symptoms will continue to be educated by South Central Nebraska Unified School District #5.
While we can't answer questions about your quarantine/isolation (please contact the South Central Heartland District Health Department at (402) 462-6211) with questions regarding this, your teacher(s) would be happy to address your continued academic plans during this time.
PRESCHOOL & ELEMENTARY STUDENTS:
- Teachers will do one of the following (or all) - please wait for instruction from your teacher.
- Packets of work may be put together for you & either delivered to you or the school will arrange pick up plans for you and your family
- Workbooks and books for students to complete daily assignments may be sent home or torn out of the workbook to be returned.
- Preschool teachers will be recording their stories on SeeSaw and/or sending the activities that go along with them.
- Links for live elementary instruction for reading & math may be shared out, wherein lesson can be viewed later if you can't attend live
- Please note that as an elementary student, you may also be asked to meet online (if possible) at some point in time during your quarantine/isolation. Your teacher(s) will reach out to your parents/guardians if this is a possibility for your family.

MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:

- HERE is a link to the teachers' online classes (Please note that teachers will contact you prior to meeting with you online and that the class(es) will normally meet at your normal class time). On the top of this page there is also a link for the teachers' lesson plans, common websites used (such as Schoology/Canvas/Google, etc.).
- HERE is a link to the time each of your classes start/end, as it gets hard to remember this when you are not at school listening for a bell to ring!
- HERE is a link to the list of staff email addresses so that you can reach out to them.
- We are assuming that all MS/HS receiving this email have internet access to join the classes online. IF THIS IS NOT THE CASE, PLEASE CONTACT THE SCHOOL ASAP!

If there is a teacher that you haven't heard from within the next day or two, please reach out to your building principal. With the number of students in quarantine changing daily, it gets hard for the teachers to keep up with, but we want you involved in class as much as possible!
