Conner Patrick Dugan Cannaday- Senior Spotlight

Conner Dugan Cannaday, son of Erin Cannaday, was born on June 1st, 2003. He has three younger siblings, brother Riley (8th grade), sister Codi (5th grade), and brother Gabriel (1st grade). “My family has had the largest impact on my life because of all the things that we have been through, we are still here for each other and push each other to be better.”
Conner’s most memorable vacation was when he went to Bible Camp. He mentioned that “it was one of my favorite experiences because of the relationships I developed there.” This is also where his team won Clan Games, which Conner noted was the accomplishment he is most proud of. Conner played many sports throughout his high school years, but football was his favorite. “I love the physically demanding aspect of the sport and, of course, the friends and memories I made while playing.”
Conner’s one piece of advice for the underclassmen was to “keep your heads up and strive to be better every day.” After graduation, Conner plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He has not decided on a major as of yet, but he hopes to figure it out while he continues his senior year at Lawrence/ Nelson.
