Keith Richard Miller- Senior Spotlight

Keith Miller, son of Phillip and Renee Miller, was born on July 13th, 2002. He has four siblings Brennan (22) and fellow seniors Alexandra (Alex), Emily, and Victoria (Tori). Keith’s favorite childhood memory was building epic 1/64th scale farm sets with his brother. “If it isn’t red, leave it in the shed.”  Keith believes that his father has made the biggest impact on his life so far. “My father has taught me how to be a great person and a hard worker.”

Keith enjoys most holidays but mentioned that his favorite is Thanksgiving. ”It’s nice to visit and spend time with the family.” His most memorable vacation was when he went to Florida with the Wroughton family and while there they caught a 10-foot hammerhead shark.

Keith is involved in many extracurricular activities but mentioned that football is by far his favorite sport saying, “it’s my favorite because you can go out there and hit someone without getting in trouble.” In academics, Keith enjoys history class the best because he grew up watching historical movies and it is interesting to him.

Keith feels that his biggest accomplishment is finally purchasing his own livestock. It has taught him a lot of responsibility and work ethic. His advice for the underclassmen is “when you fail you fail successfully, so always remember that whatever you do look at the positives that come out of it.” After graduation, Keith plans to attend Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, NE. At NCTA, he hopes to obtain an associate’s degree in Diversified Agriculture. In 10 years he hopes to “have a good job, a house, some cons, and a pretty cool cat.”
