State HOSA Winners!
On March 14th, students from the South Central USD#5 HOSA chapter went to Omaha for the HOSA state leadership conference. There, the students competed in skilled events and attended presentations about various medical-related topics. They also participated in hands-on events such as intubating, exploring an Anatomage table, and observing high-fidelity simulators in action. As part of the competitions, students took an online test about a chosen health subject prior to the conference. Four students from the SCUSD#5 chapter placed in the top three for their competitions and earned a trip to nationals in Nashville, Tennessee this June.
