Media Team Presents at NETA
If you see these kiddos, be sure to ask them about their NETA experience! They presented two different show & share sessions, "The Cougar Talk" and "Robots." They represented Sandy Creek well! All-day long they kept saying how much fun they were having and would do it again in a heartbeat. They had to talk to complete strangers and show them how things work or were done. So proud of how they handled themselves. They were asked some tough questions and did well.
Tell them congratulations!
NETA is a technology conference held for two days in Omaha with educators across the state and some surrounding states. This year there were about 1,200+ people in attendance. The keynote speaker was John Cook and then time was spent in the exhibitor's booths who loved to give them the freebies (especially candy). They had a chance to control a newer robot that can run between $15,000 - $130,000. They also tested out some other robots and were sure to share why they were there plus leaving at 6:00. They were not ready to come home after a long day. We walked out at 3:00 and they were upset that we couldn't stay longer.
