L/N Boys vs. Silver Lake
Sink It and Win!
On January 29, 2015 the Lawrence/ Nelson Raiders took on the Silver Lake Mustangs. With fire and aggression, the Raiders made an outstanding comeback that will be remembered for a long time.
The leading scorer of this game was Colton Biltoft with a total of 13 points. Colton also had two offensive rebounds and six defensive rebounds, along with two assists. Peyton Drudik scored four points and had three defensive rebounds, and two assists. Brennan Miller scored a total of 10 points, and had three offensive rebounds and 10 defensive rebounds. Miller also had one assist, three block, and three steals. Kevin Schroer scored eight points, and had two offensive rebounds and five defensive rebounds, along with one assist. Matthew Buescher scored four points, and had one offensive and defensive rebound each. Buescher also had one block and steal each. Tim Herbek Scored seven points this night, and had three defensive rebounds, two assists and two steals. Bryce Buescher got in there with one defensive rebound. Brett Karmazin score six points and had one defensive rebound. Dakota Frahm-Thayer scored eight points, and had one defensive rebound, and one steal. Wyatt Heikkinen earned the team one point by shooting at the free throw line. Heikkinen also had one defensive rebound.
Colton Biltoft stated: “They came out strong and immediately had us in foul trouble but after a few adjustments we limited the foul count which brought us within striking distance towards the end of the game. Another crucial factor was that we couldn’t miss from the free throw line late in the game when it mattered.” Sounds like the team did work and used their basketball skills to defeat the Silver Lake Mustangs. The final score for the the night was 61-54. Great job boys!
