FFA Work Day: Sunday, April 26th
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn Sunday, April 26th, Lawrence/Nelson is asking for YOUR help! From 3 PM - 5 PM, the FFA group will be having a Work Day from 3 PM to 5 PM at the Lawrence site. The purpose of the Work Day will be to help build an outdoor classroom which will include a Sand/Rock/Additional Balance Beam Area, installing four raised planter boxes, adding 2 butterfly bushes to the plants/bushes that are in place, adding a combination plexi-glass/chalkboard flat easel to be used in the Art Area, and the construction of a Gathering Area octagon-shaped platform (as money permits).This is being made possible by the Monsanto Funds donated from Monsanto to Diane Gebers for her to use on an organization of her choice. Following the FFA work day, the TeamMates will be having their annual walk-a-thon at the Lawrence track at 5 PM.
