Graphics Arts and Digital Media students work with business partners

The students in the Nebraska CAPS Graphic arts and Digital media courses have been busy working with business partners this week. Digital media students met with Taylor Siebert, CEO at Striv, on Tuesday (10/18) to learn more about broadcasting and the software they use to broadcast games. Taylor worked closely with students to teach them about Wirecast (live-streaming software) and different methods to become better broadcasters. The students enjoyed meeting with Taylor and learning more about broadcasting.

Graphic arts students met with a group of business partners from the Hastings Tribune on Wednesday (10/19). They met to begin discussions of a marketing plan for the Hastings Tribune mobile app. Our students are going to work closely with the Hastings Tribune to market the app so that people know about it and use it. This is a great opportunity for out students to gain real world skills from professionals in a career.
