ITEMS OF INTEREST:

  • We are looking for a part-time nurse (4 days/week) at LN.
  • FRIDAYS:  Any student who will be 16 before semester finals in May are eligible to take the CNA class through CCC on Fridays in the second semester.  The class will run from 9 AM until 2:30 PM, and our school nurses will be helping with transportation/instruction for this class at CCC.  All freshmen through seniors will have a business menor in the second semester to experience their chosen career hands-on.
  • If you have ideas for business mentors, please email those to Mrs. Porter at cporter@southcentralunified.org, Mr. Searle at jsearle@southcentralunified.org, or Dana Epley at depley@southcentralunified.org.
  • Career Readiness - We hope to use the Fridays in January to prepare our students for their career/business mentorships.  We are using the career readiness standards as a guide for this, before sending students out to the job sites on Fridays starting in February.
