Lady Cougars fall to the Bulldogs

The Lady Cougars took the court on December 10th against non-conference rivals the Friend Bulldogs. The team started the game with confidence, but turnovers cost the Couargs the game as they fall 37-44.

“With the game saturday we left disappointed that win didn't win, but we were left with the areas that we focused on, but in the end our team needs to take away the turnovers and we need more participation throughout the team to score more points,” said head coach Mr. Russ Ninemire.

Ninemire was please with the team’s growth, noting improvements made on specific skills covered in recent practices. However, turnovers plagued the Cougars throughout the game and three of the team’s top scorers fouled out, helping the Bulldogs seize victory.

“We need to work harder in practice, realize how many fouls we are making as a team and we need to play aggressive to make more wins,” said junior forward Kambria Chohon.
