FCA Group Attends Fields of Faith

Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Lawrence/Nelson FCA group listened to a powerful message by Desmoine Adams (former Husker football player), heard the singing of Hannah Huston (from The Voice), and took part in student testimonials at the FCA Fields of Faith at Adams Central on February 10th.
Sophomores Avery Mazour and Emily Miller stated that all students received an FCA Student Athlete Bible of the New Testament, and that the speakers were outstanding. "It wasn't like other motivational speakers - everything they said referred to our own lives instead of it being a story about theirs. There was so much stuff we learned that we can apply," stated Mazour. "It was very memorable and great experience. In our huddle groups, where we all prayed together, it made me realize that I need to put myself out there, and we all need to speak up for what is right," said Miller.
