Golden Sower
Requirements
The Golden Sower Award is referred to the Nebraska’s Children’s Choice Book Award because it is an award determined by the vote of Nebraska students. The South Central School district participates in this program and all books are available in the appropriate District Libraries. Sandy Creek Jr./Sr. High students must read 4 out of the 10 books from the following category and take the Accelerated Reader tests for the selected books to be eligible to vote. “Voting Day” will take place the first of April. Results will then be submitted to the state to determine state winners.
