APRIL 1, 2019- Brodstone Memorial/Evelene Brodstone Health Care Career Grant- applicant must be enrolled in an institue of continuing education which will prepare him/her for a career in the health care field. Applicants must have graduated from a Nuckolls County High School or have been a resident of Nuckolls County for at least one year.  Scholarship Criteria:

1) Upper 25% of class –OR-3.75 Cumulative GPA
2) Must be at least a 2 year participant in 2 sports
3) Must have earned varsity letter in 2 sports
4) Must include at least one letter of recommendation from a high school coach
5) ACT minimum score of 24
 

APRIL 15, 2019- NE Cooperative Council Education Foundation

Colleges included in the Scholarship Program are:

  • UNL College of Ag Sciences & Natural Resources – incoming and upper class students majoring in agribusiness or agricultural economics
  • Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) at Curtis – students majoring in agribusiness or ag production systems

Student eligibility is restricted to sons/daughters of a parent/legal guardian who has been an active member, director, or employee for at least the prior three years of a cooperative which has been a member in good standing of the Council for at least five years. Scholarship committees at UNL and NCTA make the selection of recipients based on criteria established for each scholarship. The Foundation only verifies local cooperative affiliation and Council membership requirements.

April 15, 2018-PLains Chapter of the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Service Jim Johnson Scholarship-Pursue a degree in Physical Science including Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Earth Science-Geology, Meteorology, Oceanography, and Soil Science.  For information click HERE

APRIL 15, 2019- Central Community College- Summer Scholarship-CCC Hastings is offering summer scholarships for current juniors and graduating seniors.  Application deadlines are April 15th and you must be registered for a class at CCC by May 18th. $150 for up to three credits Application is at www.cccneb.edu/Summer$
