Allison Jeffs, daughter of Bruce and Rita Jeffs of Nelson, was born on December 2nd, 2002. Allison is the youngest of five children. Her siblings include her late brother Cory (33), and sisters Bridgett (30), Jessica (29), and Samantha (20). Allison, also known as Allie, is notorious for preferring her nickname over her legal name.
Allie gives credit to her sister Bridgett for making a big impact on her life thus far. “Bridget has taught me to be myself and she made me believe that I could do great things with my life.” Her favorite childhood memory involves her brother Cory taking them to CoCo Keys Resort. They spent a lot of time playing in the water park and always found something fun to do. Allie also mentioned that the most memorable vacation that she has taken involved going to Tennessee with her family. She traveled there for her sister Jessica’s wedding, where she was able to celebrate, spend time with family, and also get some time on the microphone, singing at the reception.
Allie struggled to think of her favorite class in school but soon realized that the ones she enjoys the most are vocal and art. She mentioned that this is because “they allow me to be creative and express myself in many different ways.” Allie also likes to participate in the One Act and Dinner Theater performances. She loves to develop her characters and play many different parts.
The biggest accomplishment that Allie believes she has achieved is making it through high school. “With all of the struggles and obstacles that I have had to overcome, I’m proud that I made it!” Her one piece of advice for underclassmen is to never give up. “You’re almost there!” Allie plans on attending Xenon Academy of Beauty in Grand Island after graduating high school. She hopes to fulfill her dreams of becoming a cosmetologist and esthetician. After obtaining her license, Allie hopes to own her own business and work somewhere around this area.
