Victoria Janelle Miller- Senior Spotlight

Victoria Miller, mostly known by her friends and family as Tori, is the daughter of Phillip and Renee Miller. She was born on July 13th, 2002, and has four siblings, Brennan (22) and fellow seniors Alexandra (Alex), Keith, and Emily. Tori’s most memorable vacation was when she and her family went to Kansas City and visited Worlds of Fun and Snoopyville. “I was really young when we went, but I definitely remember all of the fun rides and great food!”

Her favorite childhood memory was when she would go outside and play Indians with her sisters and Keith. They would go out by the rocks and pretend they were a tribe. Tori mentioned that her mom was the one who has made the biggest impact on her life thus far. “She supported me through everything. I’m very grateful for everything that she has done for me.” Tori, like most of the senior class, thought that doing the dishes was their least favorite chore to do. “They were just boring to do and it was just never very exciting.”

In school, Tori was involved in many activities, but she listed just a few of her favorites. Being the creative one, Tori’s favorite subject was always Art. She loves the freedom that art allows and art's ability to make one think outside of the box. Tori also enjoyed playing volleyball throughout high school. She mentioned that her biggest accomplishment was going to state for volleyball her junior year. She enjoyed the memories made and the teammates she was able to work with. “It was amazing to see how everyone worked so hard to get there and never gave up.”

Tori’s advice for the underclassmen is to not stress about the things they cannot change. “Just think positive and live your life.” After graduation, Tori plans to go to the University of Lincoln and study education. She sees herself living in the city and doing something with art.
