Cole Robert Troudt- Senior Spotlight

Cole Troudt, son of Casey and Joni Troudt, was born on July 10th, 2003. He has one sibling, sophomore Emily Troudt. Cole’s favorite childhood memory was when he used to sleepwalk around the house at night. “This is my favorite memory because I used to do it all the time and I would always run up and down the stairs, wait for everyone to come to find me, and then try to scare them.” The person that Cole recognizes as someone who has made a big impact on his life is his grandpa. “My grandpa has taught me a lot of things in life and I hope to be the man that he is one day.”

Cole is involved in many activities and takes pride in his education. He mentioned that woods class and math are a couple of his favorite subjects. “They are my favorite because in woods I can be creative and math is something that I understand well.” Cole also noted that his favorite extracurricular activity in school is basketball and out of school is fishing and golfing. “ I love doing these activities because they all involved something I love to do in my free time.”

Cole is most proud of owning his own lawn care business, saying “I learned so much about how a small business works. It also allows me to help out in my community.” His best advice for the underclassmen is to listen to the teachers and soak in high school while they can. “It goes by so fast!” After graduation, Cole plans to attend Southeast Community College in Beatrice and major in horticulture and turf grass management. In the future, he hopes to one day open his own lawn business somewhere near Lawrence.
